Using Snapshot
Last updated 3 September 2026
Snapshot is a free diagnostic from LINX Consulting LLC. These are the terms you agree to by using it. They are short because the product is simple: you answer questions, we give you a report.
What you get, and what it costs
The Snapshot diagnostic and the report it produces are free. There is no card, no trial, and nothing to cancel.
A LINX advisor reads every report before it reaches you. If we think the diagnostic is too thin to be useful, we will tell you that instead of sending you something padded.
What the report is, and what it is not
The report is professional opinion built from what you told us and what you gave us. It is not an audit, not a valuation, and not accounting, legal or tax advice. It does not verify that your numbers are correct — where a figure came from a document you sent, we say so, and where it came from something you typed, we say that too.
Decisions you make off the back of it are yours. Talk to your accountant or attorney before acting on anything with real financial or legal consequence.
Parts of the report are written by AI from your answers. A LINX advisor reviews it before release, but AI-written text can be wrong in ways that read fluently. If a number or a claim does not match what you see in your business, tell us — that mismatch is useful to us and we would rather hear it.
What we need from you
Answer honestly. A diagnostic built on flattering numbers produces a flattering report, which is worth nothing to you.
Only upload documents you have the right to share. If a document contains other people’s information — your employees’ pay, your customers’ names — you are confirming you are allowed to hand it to an advisor.
Do not upload anything we did not ask for, in particular government identification numbers, health records, or card and bank account numbers.
If you invite your team to the Employee Pulse, it is on you to tell them it is coming and that their written comments may reach you word for word. The Pulse says so too, but it should not be the first they hear of it.
Your link
Your report opens from a private link rather than a password. Anyone holding that link can read the report, so treat it as yours to share deliberately and not by accident. We are not responsible for what someone does with a link you forwarded.
Who owns what
Your answers and your documents remain yours. You give us permission to use them to produce your report and to improve how we assess businesses — never to sell, rent or publish them.
The report is yours to keep, print and share. The methodology behind it, and the software, remain ours.
Stopping
You can abandon a diagnostic at any point; nothing happens and nobody chases you. If you want what you have entered removed, email connect@linxconsulting.com and read the deletion section of our privacy policy, which explains how that actually works.
We may decline or discontinue a diagnostic — for abuse of the service, or where we would have a conflict of interest. If we do, we will say why.
Liability
Snapshot is provided as is. To the fullest extent the law allows, LINX Consulting is not liable for business decisions made on the strength of the report, and any liability we do have is limited to what you paid for it, which is nothing.
Nothing here limits liability for fraud or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
Where this is governed
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nebraska. If something goes wrong, email us first — connect@linxconsulting.com. We would rather fix it than argue about it.
Questions about any of this go to connect@linxconsulting.com. A person answers.
